Smriti Mandhana Secures No.2 Spot in Latest ICC T20I Rankings

 Smriti Mandhana Secures No.2 Spot in Latest ICC T20 I Rankings








The recent string of performances pushed the 26- time-old Indian captain to the alternate position in the bottommost ICC T20I rankings displacing Australia’s Meg Lanning. 
 
 Indian women’s justice team’s fat batter Smriti Mandhana has moved to the alternate position in the bottom most ICC T20I rankings. Mandhana’s recent string of performances helped her gain the position, whereas Australian stalwart Meg Lansing slipped to the third position. Australia’s Beth Mooney holds the first spot.

 T20 rankings 

 Australia’s Beth leads the pack with 743 points, whereas Smriti has 731 points in her account. Meg is in the third spot with 725 points, followed by Newland’s Sophie Devine in the fourth position and Australia’s Tahlia McGrath in the fifth position. In a recently played three- match series, Smriti scored a whopping 111 runs. 

ODI rankings 

 In the ODI rankings too, Smriti has come up the scale from 10th place to the seventh position. In the ongoing ODI series against England, Smriti scored 91 runs in the first match. Smriti’s captain Harmanpreet Kaur also moved to ninth place after hitting a half- century in the same match. 

 ODI bowlers ’ rankings
 
 England’s pace bowler Kata Cross picked two structures in that same match and seized the 10th spot, whereas her teammate Charlotte Dean secured the 20th spot. Moving to ODI each- rounder rankings, English star Nat Skiver lost her top spot to Australia’s Ellyse Perry after skipping the series against India to concentrate on her internal health and well- being.

 India thrashed England 

In the first match of the ODI series against England, the Indian women thrashed the Britons. traipsing first in Hove, the English women scored a decent total of 227 runs by losing seven structures. still, Smriti’s atrocious 91- run knock and Kaur’s 74 won the match for India. India’s fabulous bowler Jhulan Goswami, who is set to retire at the end of the series, seized one gate.
