In the first 36 hours of its Great Indian Festival trade,e-commerce mammoth Amazon witnessed the single largest day of Prime sign- ups —1.9 times advanced than last time with 68 percent coming from league 2 and 3 metropolises in India.

The orders that attracted most new guests were smartphones, consumer electronics, fashion and groceries while Amazon saw high demand for laptops and 5G smartphones.
“ further than 60 per cent deals for Amazon Fashion came from Tier 2 and 3 metropolises. Amazon Business witnessed 50 per cent growth in guests and 100 per cent orders in the last 36 hours, ” said the company.

The Flipkart trade
