loksabha Election 2019 rk that date in your calendar. On that day -- a Tuesday -- India will deliver its verdict on the last five years of the Narendra Modi government. The results of the Lok Sabha election 2019 will be announced on May 23. The 2019 Lok Sabha polls will be held in a seven phases from April 11 to May 19. The seven phases will cover 543 constituencies.


Simultaneously, elections will also be held to the assemblies of Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, and Odisha. The results for the Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, and Odisha assembly elections will be out on May 23 along with the Lok Sabha election result.


The health department of Gujarat government has issued a resolution on March 7 that any staff been engaged for election duty will get cashless health cover. The staff, in case of any illness or injury sustained during poll duties, will get all medical facilities for free at government or private hospitals.


The chief electoral officer(CEO) in Gujarat Dr S Murali Krishna said, "The cashless health cover has been provided to staff engaged in poll duties, as per the guidelines by the election commission. This facility will be available to all the government employees from administrative services, police, drivers, cleaners and other."


"Besides this, the service has been extended for the staff like drivers of private vehicles been requested for election duty, videographers and other. All these staffs will get the medical treatment at government hospitals and dispensaries, medical colleges and hospitals running on government grants.


If it is required to get the treatment from a private hospital in emergency cases, the same also will be available to all the staff after permission by concerned district election officer(collector)," the CEO added. The election commission has also facilitated Divyang voters. Special voters photo identity cards, voters slips, guide, and ballot papers printed in Braille script for visually impaired voters.


Besides this, the Divyan voters will not have to wait in queue for their turn on polling days. Special parking facilities for vehicles and protruding ramps also will be available for them. If informed to the polling staff in advance, they will get the transportation facility.


Simultaneously, elections will also be held to the assemblies of Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, and Odisha. The results for the Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, and Odisha assembly elections will be out on May 23 along with the Lok Sabha election result.


The Election Commission had announced the Lok Sabha election schedule on March 10, when the Model Code of Conduct came into effect. The main parties contesting the Lok Sabha polls are the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress.

Controller of Accounts (Tech.), O/o Principal Accounts ice vide letter dated No.F.4/Adv/Pr.AO/35/T-/10.11/565-591 dated 23.03.2019 (copy enclosed) citing ent, Govt. of NCT of reference to Notification dated 31.01.2019 endorsed by Ministry of Flnance Departm hich is regarding enhancement of monthly oement contributions under New Pension Scheme f Basic Pay DA w.e.f. 01.04.2019 and also payment of interest on delayed + DA w.e.f ( NPS ) from 10 % to 14 % remittance of NPS contributions In view of this, all the DDOs under the payment control of this office are hereby requested to submit the salary bills/NPS arrears bils of each month before 20h of every month to avoid the delay and incident of payment of interest on delayed remittance of contributions, to the These instructions may kindly be compulsorily adhered to avold undue inconvenience subscriber of NPS Scheme Encl.

Also as per the orders of the Govt. of India, Ministry of Finance, PAOs should uploed the subscriber contributions detals by 25" of each month and remit the funds with the Trustee Bank by 26h of eech month. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has decided to make tougher the SSC multiple choice question (MCQ) paper. Say it interesting or untoward, but the board thinks its teachers are not up to the mark to do the job of setting tougher questions, and henceforth, has decided to outsource the work from some independent agencies.

The board’s officer on special duty (OSD), M M Pathan, revealed that an agency would be hired to devise a bank of tough MCQs that would aim at testing the students’ understanding about the subject. He further disclosed that last year around 5% questions in the MCQ paper of 50 marks were intentionally asked of a higher standard in order to scale up the knowledge level of board students. Following that, this year the number of tough questions would be bigger.

Viewing the competition scenario, the state board students should be in line with the students of central and international boards, and in order to make that happen, their level has to be raised, letting them perform equally well in the national level competitive exams, said.

Initially, the board had assigned the GSHSEB teachers for the task of formulating a bank of questions that would pose teasers to the students and cream out the brightest from the average students. But sadly, out of the 1, 500 questions submitted by the teachers of each subject, only 30 (apprx) were qualified to come into the category of 'tough'. Most of the questions were found to be picked from the

guides available in the market.

Relax, and work on the homework you have that's due the following day. Remember, you have a week to do the paper for a reason.
