AIFF Launches Development Scheme in Arunachal for Young Footballers
The football association launched the experimental scheme to nurture football players in the age group of 6 to 12 times.
The All India Football Federation( AIFF) launched its grassroots football development( GFD) scheme in Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday. Through the development scheme, the public football association aims to nurture the state’s youthful football bents in the age group of 6 to 12 times. Shantanu Pujari, the president of the GFD commission, launched the scheme in the presence of Chief Minister Pema Khandu and AIFF President Kalyan Chauncey.

Scheme to be run in seminaries
Chief Minister Pema Khandu nominated the GFD as ambitious and timely and said, “ This is the age group, which if nurtured and technically equipped, will be go on to come world- class players. ” Khandu, who's also the memorial President of the Arunachal Pradesh Football Association( APFA) added that the scheme would be introduced in 100 seminaries after discussion with the state’s education department. utmost of the seminaries would be government- run seminaries.
Khandu also stressed that seminaries with being football structure and good physical training preceptors would be preferred. “ Physical training preceptors of named seminaries would be trained by AIFF experts so that they're technically equipped to train expiring footballers in their separate seminaries, ” said the CM.

Promote futsal
piecemeal from promoting football, Khandu also wishes to promote futsal in the state, which has gained fashion ability among all age groups. The CM said that a refusal arena would be constructed in every quarter of the state and that football associations would be given the conservation duty of those arenas.
According to Khandu, futsal is great for honing footballing chops and that futsal can induce profit for all the quarter football associations. He also refocused out that sports- related associations must come forward and help government- patronized sporting events.
“ Since its commencement in 1937, no AIFF President has ever set bottom in our state, where football is the most popular game, ” the CM said.
