This new feature will be helpful for both fastag users and toll operators. The party will be able to check Fasteh's balance on a real time basis. Not only this, with the help of Fastag Balance you will be able to resolve disputes. Apart from this NHAI has decided to increase the refresh time of blacklisted tags from 10 minutes to 3 minutes. So that the status in the ETC system can be updated and the status in the app can be seen by easily passing in the toll.
This feature will be in My FASTag app like Health Bridge app
A fitter like You are Safe of the health bridge app has also been developed in this app to avoid corona. Fastag balance information will be available in the form of a color code. The green color code states that the fastag is active and contains a sufficient amount. Orange color i.e. fastag has less balance and red color i.e. fastag is blacklisted.
40 thousand PoS can be recharged using FASTag
If a vehicle is in orange color mode, the user can recharge it immediately from the point of sale. Along with this, more than 40,000 POSs have been set up at Toll Plaza along with 36 banks. This feature will save vehicle time, petrol and money. For this you can take the help of BBPS, UPI, online payment, My Fastag mobile app, Paytm, Google Penny. Along with this POS facility will also be available 24 hours at Toll Plaza.
Fastag's transaction reaches Rs 80 crore
According to NHAI, a record transaction of Rs 50 lakh was made on December 24 at Toll Plaza with Fastag. 80 crore has been deposited in the amount of toll tax. This is the largest amount of a day. On the other hand, 2.20 crore Fastags have been sold so far
